Welcome to NWSC Administrative Programs
Northwest Service Cooperative is a regional educational service agency that provides support and resources to member school, city, county, and other agency administrators in the our region. Programs targeted for our member administrators are targeted in this section.
Administrator Forums
The NWSC provides three in-person Admin Forums, weekly Zoom meetings, and an annual seminar for school administrators to keep administrators up-to-date of current happenings.
Business Partners
The Northwest Service Cooperative forms partnerships with various companies when it is beneficial to our membership. These partners provide facility management and planning, student resilience, student loan advisory, and college prep resources.
Cooperative Purchasing
Cooperative Purchasing is a program of the Minnesota Service Cooperatives. It's member driven and is helps our members get the best value in their purchasing. Explore to learn more on our partnered vendors.
Crisis Response Team
NWSC Regional School Crisis Response Team offers assistance in the event that your school experiences a traumatic event or serious loss.
The team can provide information, support and assistance to help restore the emotional well-being of your school.
Entry Level Driver Training
NWSC offers entry level driver training for those wishing to begin their training to become school bus drivers. Brian Byklum is the trainer.
Environmental Health & Safety
NWSC has qualified staff to provide health, safety, environmental, and occupational services to meet all regulatory requirements. With a long list of satisfied clients, our programs are managed by well-trained, experienced field representatives.
Food & Nutrition
NWSC provides an annual school nutrition summer training in August. We also offer a School Nutrition Consultant Program as well as provide ServSafe Training.
Health & Wellness
Through the Minnesota Healthcare Consortium insurance members have access to several health care cost management programs to help decrease costs and make managing your organizations benefits easier.
Health Insurance
As a member of the Minnesota Healthcare Consortium, the NWSC offers reliable self-insured health insurance products for our school, city, county and other governmental agency members and their families. Our program offers group rates with flexibility and choice of plan design, a comprehensive provider network, and low administration and stop-loss fees.
Member Recognition Program
The NWSC Recognition Program, One Person Can Make a Difference, recognizes our members for outstanding contributions they make to their organizations. People recognized are posted to the NWSC Facebook page.
Membership
The Northwest Service Cooperative serves schools, cities, counties and other governmental agencies as well as non-profits (501c3) in economic regions 1 & 2. The member organizations "own" the cooperative and govern it with elected officials from public schools and government agencies.
