Schedule

12:30-12:45 Intro's and activities to get the day started. For  teachers to get moving and apply activities that are standards based and can be applied to their classroom right away.


12:45-2:15 4 New Health Competencies for schools required to cover K-12 Using the "Fused Technique" in Health Education---Presenter Kristen Ford. Come learn a pedagogical approach to teaching K-12th grade Health Education blending the best aspects from the standards based health education and skills based health education teaching models.


2:15-3:30 EVERY STUDENT COUNTs. Come learn about the SCCM model of Physical Education (Burd 2023), that helps teachers differentiate instruction and include every student in their classroom. In this session, teachers will learn how to apply social and emotional learning in every activity taught, as well as assessments that go along with these activities.  


3:30-3:40: Closing
