Instructional Practices in Mathematics for Prek-2

These sessions are for teachers of grades PreK-2.

To change outcomes in mathematics, we must first rethink our approach. This instructional practices series is designed for math

teachers, coaches, and school and district leaders. It introduces the NCTM’s 8 Effective Math Teaching Practices as a foundation for shifting how we teach math in our classrooms. Whether you are new to teaching mathematics or would like to brush up on effective instruction in mathematics, this series is for you! There will be 8 virtual sessions throughout the 2025-26 school year with follow-up consultation and/or coaching from your service cooperative’s math lead or coach. Click the links below to register.
