About the event
This year we have 14 presenters lined up for this fun event! The Young Authors Conference is designed to encourage and inspire young writers in grades 5-8, promoting student enthusiasm and competence in written communication. Through interaction with established authors, poets, playwrights, storytellers, illustrators, journalists and teachers of writing, students discover and explore their writing talents and potential. This year students will be able to attend 3 different sessions throughout the day, participate in a book fair and an autograph session with authors and illustrators.
